  • A Two Day National Seminar on “ROUTING, FLOW & CAPACITY DESIGN IN COMPUTER NETWORK” sponsored & funded by the AICTE was organized on 4th and 5th March 2013. In this eminent professors from the premier institutes delivered their expert views. The convener of this seminar was Dr. T.V.V. Sudhakar.
  • The Department conducted Two Day (12th to 13th September 2013) workshop on “Hardware & Software Installation” for the 3rd Semester students. The objective of this workshop is student can learn the practical approach of Installation of software’s like System Formatting, Operating System Installation, Application software Installation & Other Hardware installation like Modem, Printer etc.
  • The Department conducted Two Day (26th to 27th September 2013) workshop on “Web site Design & Hosting” for the 5th & 7th Semester students. The objective of this workshop is making the students as Professional for Web site designing & hosting. In this workshop different web site making tools like HTML, CSS,PHP & Joomla covered by the faculty members with real time example so that students can learn how to incorporate theses tools for a particular application. After that How to upload these web pages in particular domain also covered.
  • Department conducted a One Day Seminar on Software testing in the month of 15th February 2014 for the 4th & 6th Semester students of CSE,EEE & ETC. The Seminar was delivered by the Mr.Raghvendran R, Testing Manager of Cognizant Software Solutions Chennai. In this seminar 160 students participated.

Mr. Raghvendran R Covered the Following points in his lecture.

  • Software Testing is a Investigation conducted to provide stakeholders with information about the quality of the product or services under test.
  • Software testing also provides an objective, independent view of the software to allow the business to appreciate and understand the risk at implementation of the software.
  • Test techniques include but are not limited to the process of executing a program or application with the intent of finding software bugs
