Mankind has always shown a susceptibility to constant changes with the progress of time. Realizing this characteristic trait that will be a dominant force in all activities, JPES foresaw the need of the Electrical & Electronics department and it was introduced as one of the core courses when the college was established in 2008.

In a world where communicating to any point across the globe has become a finger tip possibility, the importance of electronic systems is revered.

The smooth functioning of it is what the whole global set-up depends on whether it is for pleasure, work, health or travel. Because of this functionality, the importance and possibilities of the course also sky-rockets. Firms are always on the lookout for expertise and fresh talent emerging from this genre. The faculty is also kept updated and aware of the ever changing technology through training and periodical guest-lectures, seminars etc.

State-of-the-art labs and a well-functioning computer center acts as an added advantage for our students. The passing years have also seen a growth in our student body numbers and have crafted success stories for many of our students. The students are given opportunistic exposure to various technicalities in their fields to heighten their understanding and grasp of the subject. Students are urged to take up live projects in reputed industries and research organizations like NTPC, CSEB, NMDC etc to bridge the fine line between theoretical concepts and practical reality.
